The MP3450 is an awesome pack. I have two of them, one with the auxiliary 3450-10 which gives twice the juice... I use the thing on long trips, camping trips etc to charge my phone, iPad etc. We have used them on set to power field monitors and other devices.
Great stuff, super reasonably priced.
Enjoy!
Yea...I've got 5 :-)
Fantastic batteries! I had custom wires made up for my sound bag. They power my Nomad, RX900 and Zoom for 4.5 hours and cost a 6th of what an NP1 setup would run. The guys at Coffee sound showed them around the shop when I brought them in.
So, everyone please DO NOT BUY THESE so they can stay relatively inexpensive.
With this little adapter I found...you can power your MacBook Pro's for hours with the battery packs.

Interesting...
I have 2 view Factor's P-tap to USB (very happy with it).

I use an iPhone charger with a USB cord to keep mine charged. And never store it docked to the camera.
Given some recent discussion on voiding warranty with power and lens mounts. Is there an official list of chargers or known working chargers that can charge the Redmote separately to the camera?
Since it's charged via USB (I think, I don't have a redmote) I doubt there's really any issue here. 5v via USB is very standard.
