I cant think of anything I wouldnt do to get my hands on this. It would make the 4.7k in Canon lenses into solid F#$%^ GOLD.

Quick timeout here, looks like there was an error in email blast process so some people may have gotten a blast prematurely. Our team is looking into it as we speak so - quite unfortunately - some of you may get a second email to notify you that your allocation email was incorrect. My apologies and I have everyone involved tasked to make sure this does not happen again. I will update as more info becomes available...

UPDATE: We have confirmed that some people did get an email prematurely for certain backordered items. If you are affected by this error, you will get an email from your rep retracting that allocation notice. If you do not get a second email by the end of today, all is good. Guys.... it's been at least 6 months since I've worked with Red Pro primes... but last I checked they don't have a slight blue cast on the front element. Nippon-Kogaku style. Nor do I recall any that are 5' long, maybe the 50mm...


That's like 3 PL mounts back to back, the whole lens...! New NAB lenses anyone? Or am I crazy?

I'm only noticing this because I thought "hm nice to finally see the part pictured on the camera."

Legally, you cannot fulfill orders at NAB. But you can certainly place your order on RED.com :)

Now if Jarred would only stop spilling the beans before NAB, hehe.
