Guys.... it's been at least 6 months since I've worked with Red Pro primes... but last I checked they don't have a slight blue cast on the front element. Nippon-Kogaku style. Nor do I recall any that are 5' long, maybe the 50mm...


That's like 3 PL mounts back to back, the whole lens...! New NAB lenses anyone? Or am I crazy?

I'm only noticing this because I thought "hm nice to finally see the part pictured on the camera."

Could be the new sensor is tinted something different... Who knows... All guesswork.

Quick timeout here, looks like there was an error in email blast process so some people may have gotten a blast prematurely. i was wondering about this, so your zeiss primes are the canon mount ones? I have a titanium canon mount on my epic and wondering if I'll ever bother with a pl mount if these worked well...

No sir my Zeiss primes are Nikon mount, and I got the Allstar adapter for them.

If it includes a 4k screening of little Bilbo Baggins, that could be a game changer for us couch surfers.

Legally, you cannot fulfill orders at NAB. But you can certainly place your order on RED.com :)

Now if Jarred would only stop spilling the beans before NAB, hehe.

All the hype was over an AL mount?... Maybe but probably something a little better. I am hoping Apple steps it up at NAB too, if they don't we'll send the RED team over Apple HQ.
