APRIL Backorder Update

Guys.... it's been at least 6 months since I've worked with Red Pro primes... but last I checked they don't have a slight blue cast on the front element. Nippon-Kogaku style. Nor do I recall any that are 5' long, maybe the 50mm...

That's like 3 PL mounts back to back, the whole lens...! New NAB lenses anyone? Or am I crazy?

I'm only noticing this because I thought "hm nice to finally see the part pictured on the camera."

Yeah, we are going to try to show how a sold product can be integrated into the system as we release products. And, Ryan, that is a current RED PRO lens on there - no early Easter egg, haha.

Yeah... it really got my hopes up. First email said my quad battery module and my module adapter were ready for shipping. Then five minutes later another email came in saying my Redmote was available and ready. Wow.

Then... wa...wa...wa... false alarm. Now I gotta go talk to my Epic and calm her down. She got a little excited.

Do you guys like the A mount with PL for scarlet? Anyone have one and want to share thoughts?

I have the Amount on my scarlet so that I can go from my Red Zooms to my Zeiss ZF primes fast.

It is a solid mount and works well.

i was wondering about this, so your zeiss primes are the canon mount ones? I have a titanium canon mount on my epic and wondering if I'll ever bother with a pl mount if these worked well...

Hmm.
Two allocation mails and two prematurely allocated mails this night.. I thought 1st of April was six days ago...

Quick timeout here, looks like there was an error in email blast process so some people may have gotten a blast prematurely. Our team is looking into it as we speak so - quite unfortunately - some of you may get a second email to notify you that your allocation email was incorrect. My apologies and I have everyone involved tasked to make sure this does not happen again. I will update as more info becomes available...

UPDATE: We have confirmed that some people did get an email prematurely for certain backordered items. If you are affected by this error, you will get an email from your rep retracting that allocation notice. If you do not get a second email by the end of today, all is good.
