Though, I have to say that Storm's video was and looked better and it was shot with 7D and 5D: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHy9W9LpvlQ

Chad, great video! really enjoyed it. We're you using any NDs on the canon lenses? And I wanted to ask you about the glidecam system. I was considering the x-10 package with the hd4000 stabilizer any particular reason you chose the XR over the HD? how long did it take you to get it balanced?

    Thanks for posting great work!

I used a Fader ND from Genus, it was really handy since it was the only one I had to use the entire shoot =)

I used the XR since my HD-4000 was unavailable. I was also testing out the XR for Glidecam, so I wanted to try and use the entire system.
Balancing took less than an hour since I had to add additional weight to the bottom. It was Really nice once it was balanced and on the 2nd and third day, took less than 10 minutes to reconfigure , even with swapping the lenses out.

    Thanks for the compliments!

Thanks Josh. Its ok. We are all friends in the freerunning world. there is little competition , as we are all trying to spread the word of the sport.

Also, Claudiu Voicu, who shot Storm Freerun Vol 1 is a professional DP. He knows cameras inside and out. I am a designer+animator by trade, so my DP skills are not nearly as good as his =)
