    H Chad,

you know that you can treat the HDRx channels separately in DaVinci Resolve, if you want t mask them, do you?
    Regards,

    Uli

My Red is called Vertov after a Russian avantgarde filmmaker, a pioneer in modern cinematography, a true revolutionary who later suffered under Stalin's bureaucracy.

Good to know, I know the new Premiere / After effects RED Preview lets you do it as well, so I will probably stick with that. The real issue was that I was trying to shoot everything at 48 FPS and HDR was not available =(

Great video, great music, great performers, what else can I say!

If only Scarlet had 120fps for even more dramatic slow-mo in certain moments)

How did Redvolts hold up? Have you burned through a lot of them during the shoot?

    +1 for 96 FPS @ 1.5K hahah!

the redVolts were great! We had a total of 10, but there was a lot of shutting the cameras on and off. We spend about a quarter redvolt each dialing the two SXs in with WB and settings, then we were just really conservative with the use of the camera. The longest a camera stayed on for less than 10 minutes at a time during the entire 9 hour day shoot. VERY CONSERVATIVE , which was hard shooting dangerous action like this !

I am ALL ABOUt the RedVolts, but I really cant wait to get my hands on the DualVolt. I hope to balance that on a glidecam and then I am SET!
