I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem......We have run some 3D camera control tests with our two Epic X cameras set up with a new Ambient ACL 204 lockit. When we change the IP address on the slave cameras as instructed by the Red Epic manual, the Master camera will not gain control of the slave camera. However when we set the IP address on both cameras at the default a setting of 10 10 10 10 the Master camera gets control of the Slave camera.

Have we missed something or is there a misprint in the Epic manual? It clearly states on page 211 #3 in the Red Epic manual version 3.0 "Give the Slave camera a unique IP address different from the Master."

I don't have a camera in front of me at the moment, but you must enable the tiny check boxes that say "enable sending", which you'd set for your master camera, and then set your slave camera to "enable listening". If you want both cameras to be able to change settings as to not worry about which LCD touchscreen you're accessing you can select both check boxes on both cameras. The IP might be a thing of the past by now, don't quote me on that but I feel like sometimes I don't touch the IP address' and it all works properly.

Doug, where are the "tiny check boxes that say 'enable sending" Do you mean the tick boxes next to the words TARGET ALL NONE which is on the screen which is shown on the Operations Manual on page 211.
I couldn't get the cameras talking to each other any which way, so just did it the old fashioned way. Change one camera then changed the other camera.
