Finally its here! A labs update for Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder to support Epic audio and Scarlett audio. This update is based upon the latest RED SDK for bug fixes and audio support.

I'm sorry this has taken so long to materialize. While it is a challenge to keep up with a fast moving company like RED, we recognize we need to do better. Keep your feedback coming to help us understand what is most important in your workflow.

    Some questions you will ask:

Does this support Red Gamma 3 and Red Color 3?

No it does not. Red just got this to us recently and it is too late to get it into this patch. We have this working in the lab and you will see it in a future release of Adobe apps.

    Does this support Magic Motion?

No it does not. We have this working in the lab after some work with the Red guys. You will see it in a future release of Adobe apps.

    Does this support Alchemy?

No it does not. At this point we are working with Red to see what it will take to support Alchemy.

So without further adieu go grab it!

THIS SPECIFIC POST WAS THE FIX: http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthr...l=1#post969860

Audio not working for me. Any ideas? I've tried installing 3 times, the last time after updating Premiere Pro.

    ImporterRED.bundle v. 5.5.2 Created March 2,2012

All I'm getting is hiss. I have audio from the same clips in RCX but Premiere doesn't play the audio back.

I need a feature to be abel to do a one light grade in red cine x and save the RMD and it dynamically updates the look in adobe Premier with the option of browsing the looks that i have created in RCX.

Plus Audio syncing that was done in RCX from an external audio recorder with timecode

    Hi David,

First. let me say that I started non linear editing in Adobe Premiere back in 1997. 15 years later, after 8 years in Final Cut Pro and with my recent purchase of a Red Epic, I decided to go back to Premiere, buying the Production suite CS 5.5.

I've been very impressed so far with the Red workflow, and am really glad you guys addressed the audio issue. However, please, please don't make Red color 3 and red gamma 3 a solo CS6 only solution- what this would mean would be the same as paying for the frequent "raw" updates for still cameras for your still picture apps like Photoshop or Lightroom- something you don't charge, and as a consumer I think correctly, because its merely allowing functionality of the said cameras and interpreting metadata. Redgamma3 and Redcolor 3 are simple raw metadata updates and as a costumer I feel really unconfortable if this is a "paid" upgrade...

Also please be "gentle" on the upgrade price to CS6 when it comes out! I bought this after the "switch" promotion! :)

Anyway, great software. Everything seems stable so far, one of the main issues I had back when I used Premiere. And the mercury playback engine with the rocket works incredibly well!
