..and the two people that went before him ;) ..they only got footage of the inside of their sub, and the most exciting thing was a window cracking..which would be pretty exciting at those depths
More interesting is footage from outside.. which may be a real disappointment, depending on where he lands?
Envious of him, yet quite glad I'm not doing it myself!
lets stop putting any other camera other than red in a same sentence please.
He's there filming away as we speak! Keep an eye on the website (www.deepseachallenge.com)!
.@JimCameron is the first person in history to solo dive to the deepest place on Earth, a record 35,756ft/10,898m
Just arrived at the ocean's deepest pt. Hitting bottom never felt so good. Can't wait to share what I'm seeing w/ you @DeepChallenge
Wait are you sure he's using the epic? I just read a lot over it and noticed it said everything about this ship was built by Cameron and his crew including the cameras which were built from the sensor up?
There is definitely an Epic aboard. There are also custom 3D cameras and a GoPro
check this link for Cameras....

it does state that the RED Epic is onboard
I'm surprised Jim has not commented on this.
It's history in the making and RED DIGITAL CINEMA is along for the ride.
...too much RED on the brain.| « Previous Thread | Next Thread » |
