    Hey all!

This weekend I finished production on my first short film in a few years and it was a pretty fucking awesome experience. First time working with the Epic and it was a total gem. Shot with Lomo Anamorphic primes and the results are just gorgeous. Not sure I'll ever be able to do anything but Epicanamorphic, especially since I'm obsessed with WIDE widescreen.

Here are some screen grabs and BTS videos for anyone interested.

Hope to have a trailer soon. Thanks for checking the stuff out!! Enjoy!

Well, this ended up being a sad, train wreck of a story. The short was very close to completion about a month ago, and a freak accident resulted in all of the drives being corrupted and unrecoverable. But there is a remnant of the work that was done.

No color grading. No sound mixing or sfx. No fully finished VFX. But you can still see some pretty Epic anamorphic footage... just from a highly compressed vimeo file.

    Enjoy.

Freak accident... sounds like a nightmare

Didn't you have a second set of back-up drives or something on tape? Maybe just copies of your unedited rushes to rebuild from? Production insurance?

BTW - something weird on a few shots (00:13:48:19 or 00:01:28:18 as examples of 2). Looks like the Ana is misaligned as that's very odd distortion... I've seen a similar effect when Ana's are slightly mis-aligned.

The lead male did a really great job acting. Sorry to hear about the drives though :(
