Hello! This is my first project released that I've shot on my scarlet-x! I look forward to hearing everyone's thoughts!

The artist is Melody Thornton, previously of the pussycat dolls. this is part 1 of a mixtape-video, which she is releasing in conjunction with her solo album.


the directors are Hyperballad, and all post was handled by Zach and Nick Young.

The opening shot is really nice! Going slowly from that background to the dress.
I thought the rest of the clip was a bit too much of the same, content-wise, but really lovely opening shot and imagery of that big long dress (or whatever it is) flowing in the wind.

Thanks Mathieu! This video was meant to be animation-heavy, so our actual shots of melody were straightforward, which is probably why it feels repetitive. The flowing dress was all cg, as well as the movement in the first shot.
