So what's the full story on this? Your gear was stolen, but you had insurance and they gave you the money to get another camera. Red didn't actually replace the value of the camera, sans insurance right? They basically took the insurance money and gave you another camera without a wait?

Sorry for the delay, never noticed this.. The company I subrented to paid me immidiatley, so I just purchased again with little wait time..
