You guys are not seeing the added bonus here. Setting your clock back not only lets you keep running Alchemy, but it makes you look like you got your work done a few days ago. In my case, it's going to make it look like I transcoded all the footage before I shot it today. Damn, I'm good.

Since I can't pull Alchemy settings into Premier or Resolve, I quickly abandoned it. You can get the same results with a thoughtful S-Curve, which does cross over in the RMDs.

Like Zack stated, it wasn't disabled remotely but written in code.

The previous version of REDCINE-X also had an expiring license for Alchemy. That was a big reason for the last v10 release, to extend that. Or at least that was the impression I got. I'm figuring that RED was planning to update by now, but I'm sure they're working hard at getting RC3/RG3 ready for us.

We'll get it straightened out. And RC3/RG3 in REDCINE-X Pro will be released before you know it. Frowns will turn to smiles.

I think alchemy is more than an s-curve, my impression has been that it's akin to the old screen multiply bleach bypass effect but in hsv space to avoid hue and saturation corruption.
