Received my Epic a few weeks now and wanted to put it to work before going on a job. Here's a doc I shot on a friends business that's closing. Kind of sad to see it go. I was able to film alone just the way I like to. It was a breeze moving around lightly with Canon primes. I love my Epic!

Workflow is a pain in the ass so far but I'm sure it will get better. I was use to cutting proxies on the fly rather then making my own which not took about 6 hours. This was edited using the almighty FCPX garbage and PR proxies. Why FCPX, because I tried and it still failed.

Man, I don't where that town is, what RT's market is, or who that guy is, but after watching this short... I want to know all of them. Very nicely done. Good luck to that man as his brothers.

Thanks guys. Canon Primes 24, 50, 85, and Tokina 11-16 I should also mention that what you are seeing is raw from the camera no processing. Hopefully once all the bugs get squashed I'd love to go back and grade it.

Knock yourself out, but, in this piece, subject, content, and the person behind the camera trump all else. No offense to RED, but all the camera needed to do here was stay out of the way.
