  1. #1 ISO and Color Temp not showing changes live view
I've got a client saying they cannot see any changes in the ISO or color temp menus when they select on my Epic-X. The changes do take place because they can verify and make further adjustments during playback but not during live view. And other settings such as f-stop, shutter speed, etc. seem to be working fine.

    Has anyone seen this before?

    Running firmware 2.05

    thanks

they probably have RAW selected . Try turning off RAW. Press on the histogram, deselect Raw

Thanks. They're telling me they can see ISO changes again but now everything looks greenish and changing white balance doesn't help.

Could a LOOK setting like tint or gain be skewed towards green?

Hold your finger on the white balance setting on the touch screen to open the tint control. You can use that to skew towards magenta or green.

Edit to add: If the tint control is skewed towards green it won't reset if you just scroll through the white balance settings. So that could be your client's problem.

Thanks for the input guys. I haven't heard back from the client in several hours so he might have fixed it or it might have resolved itself. In any case, I'm off to retrieve my kit so I want to get down the bottom of it myself.

Well I got the Epic back and sure enough, the ISO and white balance were not working but I reloaded the firmware and everything seems fine now.

Did you check if you were in RAW monitoring mode first? That is really the only explanation. It's much better to try and understand why the camera is doing something rather than just "fixing" it.

If you did check and it wasn't in RAW monitoring mode please PM me so I can take a look at a log file from your camera.

What part of the touch screen is the White balance setting located? Are you referring to the kelvin slider?
