I finally wrote up an article for my blog about my setup for the Katy Perry 3D movie I worked on late last year.

I was excited to finally get some hands on time with the rig (one of the few I hadn't played with yet).

We shot in a full broadcast configuration recording a line cut via fiber (in the trailer outside the staples center) from the sdi out while simultaneously recording on the cards for the feature.

Great post Pedro. It will be really nice to see how the video worked in the live switch. Please post a link whenever possible. Also was the fiber taking the feed from both the cameras or just one camera.

Thank God for Epic, eh Pedro? The 3D rigs we used back just 2 years ago were bigger than my car.

I have no idea when the movie will come out.......the fiber carries both eyes back to the recorders on the broadcast truck.
