    I ordered a Scarlet w/ Canon AL mount on November 3rd, 9:03PM
I received a shipment from RED last week (Tuesday)

I have yet to name it, but that didn't stop me from shooting some test footage with it, tethered to the wall with AC:

First half is some anamorphic glass, second half is a 20 dollar plastic lens

My first shoot is next Sunday, we must decide on a name by then. Vote now!

    Options:

    1. Fluffles
    2. 5 Deez Nuts mk ii
    3. Constipation Nation
    4. Generic name, like "Crossbones", "Gladiator", "Vlad the Impaler", "King Me", "Ace" etc.
    5. Cool name, like "Checkmate"

Why would I take offense? 'Silly' should never be used as a pejorative.

In Monte's defense, I was stumped for a name for my camera and someone (unprompted) gave me a great suggestion including the logic behind it.

Wow, that plastic thing at the end gave kind of specific look. Add heavy film grain and it'd look like handheld film camera of the old times. Anamorphics are badass, as usual.

I was rooting for 5DeezNutz, but the polls are leaning towards Fluffles, which is fine - just means I'm going to have to get the camera annodized pink.

Which $20 plastic lens did you use on that stuff? I dig the gilly flares.
