Wow! This is a great present!
Thank you Evin, and to all who participated and made the test possible.
Hope you are also having some fun with that RED electronic Nikon mount.
That chart needs another column - the amount of focus rotation. The Leicas are amazing at 270 degrees making them a very attractive PL alternative.
There will be a whole section on Mechanics.
Can you report the serial numbers on the Leicas?
They are Matt Uhry's set. I'll leave that up to him.
It's these lenses:
Basically all 3 cam non ROM all over 28 xxxxxxxx except the 19mm is a V2 Rom.
We did not include the 60mm in the test, but it looked good on the projector.

Saw tests by K.R. And others between Zeiss 21mm and Nikon 14-24 where Zeiss completely beat Nikon zoom. But not according to you..Zeiss is so much sharper especially wide open. Zeiss Also gives you more organic look.
If you mean Ken Rockwell, well, then you need to consider your source. Organic looks is an opinion, I felt all the lenses in the test produced a look that could be described as organic, depending upon your criteria. Overall the lenses were more similar than not.
The Zeiss 21mm did quite well overall, but at least on the projector it was not sharper than the 14-24 Nikkor, although on an Epic you probably couldn't tell one from the other on sharpness alone.
