I have 3 very disappointing RED MOTES.... 3 to 8 feet max... The worst being from my EPIC M deal, and my two 3 month old ones are only slightly better. 8 feet....
Are you saying that firmware alone fixes the range issues ?
I'm going to do another test with them this week when I get back from shooting.

I'm just curious mate as I'd love to get these working properly. I just like the look of them... :)

What's my next course of action if they are all still low range.. Do i have to send the cameras and REDMOTES back? (hopefully not as they are busy as hell)

Looking forward to NAB by the way...

Hey Mark, I just tested my brand new Redmote with my Scarlet from a little more than 30 feet away, with a door and two walls between me and the camera.
I got 1 bar and I was able to start and stop my camera without a hitch. I hope you get yours working soon.
