Totally thrilled to get this news (eventhough I did just buy the optiteck). Thanks again for bringing the excitement back into the technology that we use to make films.

Beautiful. Well done, RED. For a totally illegitimate scam of an op, you guys sure do make really cool things.

Thank youJarred/Jim sooo much, us Nikon shooters were wondering what was up with the mount. Looks amazing...

It wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that the mount will be available with Scarlet packages in the future, would it? :)

Thanks for the update, Jarred !

How about the AF motors in the Nikon G lenses ? Are they faster then the Canon L lenses ?

    Great
    News!

Does this have a wicked locking system like the canon mount?

    The iris looks so smooth.

Waiting, patiently. My Nikons were the reason I justified buying a RED One. Birger still has my deposit money for the Nikon mount that never came to be. Doug made a couple great solutions, then came Jacek. The Optitek works great, but it's still a dumb mount. Have never been a beta tester for RED, would love the opportunity. But more importantly, would love to finally get the mount I've been waiting for all these years. Hurry UP!

Pawel's probably asleep so I'll answer for him - and it's yes! He has a link to pictures and info in the bubble blowers thread and the epic underwater housing thread.
