The Nikon mount as most of you know has been a bit tricky as Nikon requires actual motors in the mount where Canon has the motors in the lenses.

How about the AF motors in the Nikon G lenses ? Are they faster then the Canon L lenses ?

Waiting, patiently. My Nikons were the reason I justified buying a RED One. Birger still has my deposit money for the Nikon mount that never came to be. Doug made a couple great solutions, then came Jacek. The Optitek works great, but it's still a dumb mount. Have never been a beta tester for RED, would love the opportunity. But more importantly, would love to finally get the mount I've been waiting for all these years. Hurry UP!
