    fuck i didnt see this thread before. oh noooooooooooooooooooooo.
    i owned a set of these till some MF did steal them.
    The old panchros have a very unique look.....
    i am still looking for a 75mm for close ups only....this is the most special cooke lens ever.

    This is such an ideal set. PL mount, modern rehousing... who needs the 50, you've got the Deakins 40 and a deep field telephoto, hunt down a 75 and you're golden....

    I'd trade any gear I own to not have missed this thread. Yeah Timur, congrats to whoever made the best decision of the year...

    In the end, I sold them to a Reduser! I must say I was shocked they didn't sell immediately. I think people don't realize how rare the PL mount is and how awesome the 100mm is either :) They are at Duclos now getting some love and I'm sure the buyer is going to be thrilled with results when he gets them. I wish I could have kept them.

    ITs funny you mention the Deakins 40mm....

    My cooke 18-100 has a marking for 40mm, and deakins has said that the 18-100 varotal is his favorite zoom.... they must have marked it for him. :)
