Sooner or later comes the question:

Which bag is the best solution for me, to transport my camera equipment?

Post a picture of your bag here and tell us:

    - Is it for a one day shooting or travel?
    - Which equipment is inside?
    - The case manufacturer (Model number).
    - Is the foam self cut?

    - The weight?

    Or what ever you want...

KETCH, I HOPE YOU KILL ME NOT:

I recently picked up a Petrol 5 bag to hold my built up camera. It's tall enough for a x handle and wide enough for hand grips and a matte box to be attached. I have to take off the should pad assembly to give it ample space, but it does fit with it on. I'll use this bag in the back of a land rover or with local shooting when I need my camera ready to go. The bag itself is a bit heavy but sturdy.

For travel I have an FSTOPGEAR bag which I'll post some photos later.

    Hi Michael,

Nice and compact config you have there.
Care to share on the exact bits and pieces?

Hi Jules, it's a mix of a bunch of things. You can find the evolution of it on the scarlet rig post. It's an Easom Optics halo cage (from my DSLR mixed with some genus parts (Mattebox, baseplate, and shoulder). Needing the top of the camera clear for the LCD, I opted not use the Easom handle (which I really like) and have now gone with the x handle, A-box, top plate, nato rail, and quick release back plate . I've got the Switronix v-mount, and swit batteries (non red). It's front heavy for hand held, but the few times I use it of the tripod it is ok.
