i was wondering how accurate it works and if any of you guys find it helpful for transcribing long interviews? i have yet to try it myself personally and was hoping to just get some feedback from others on if its accurate or not. thanks

If the person who is speaking on camera is not an actor, or someone who has very clear, neutral accent American English I found it's accuracy to be less than 80%. It really wasn't worth the time editing all of the wrong transcriptions that we needed for a script.
However for just finding certain keywords it was a little helpful, but honestly I havn't used it for more than an hour long interview session. I could imagine it being useful for multiple days of footage.
yea i'm trying to streamline my transcriptions for long interviews/docs. with such a low level of accuracy does it at least process it quickly or does it take a long time? has it improved at all since it debuted in cs4? i am running 5.0 but would consider upgrading to a newer version if it can increase the accuracy of the transcriptions. thanks for the advice, much appreciated
I think that the best advance in this feature is the ability to use a script as a guide so that you can radically increase the accuracy. This isn't useful for creating a transcript from unscripted speech, but it's great for getting time-accurate markers for dialog.
I show how to do this in this video here:

Yes.> So in theory, once you have something (accurately) transcribed, would it be possible to use that transcription and link the speech to it?
I'd bring questions about the details to the Adobe Story forum:

Todd, it looks like this does not work at all with Epic R3D files in PPro. Is that true? Or am I missing something? (I am using the Lightroom audio hack.
