Best way to ship R1 back to RED -INSURED

I will be shipping my Red One back to Red soon for Trade-in and am concerned about the insurance protection of different carriers.

My equipment insurance has lapsed and will be reinstated when my Epic arrives.

I am concerned about FedEx and UPS as they seem to have only "stated Value" policies and not a a real insurance policy and I have heard some horror stories.

USPS seems to only have a $5000 limit. If any of you have any ideas to share i would appreciate it.

I am hesitant to send my baby off without full protection.

I think Keith brings up a good question. Perhaps its late and there's an easy answer to this, but at the moment all I can think of is to pretty much buy equipment insurance. Which really isn't that expensive. In fact, in a cost-per-day calculation, comes out to much less than anything Fedex or UPS or USPS charges. Or I could make a specialized foam case for it, virtually nothing could happen to it, but not sure any of you would actually go for one. haha
