Finally got to try Beta 3. Of course ProRes is the big news - it works well, but appears to be single threaded. On a related note, also managed to get ProRes out of Premiere and Vegas by serving to ffmpeg using Debugmode Frameserver. AnotherGUI supports ProRes encoding on both Linux and Windows, and some other ffmpeg frontend GUIs might as well. ProRes encoding on Windows and Linux is picking up well. All that said, let's hope it doesn't have too much of a future as a standard deliverable.
