How about a switchable EVF/LCD cable ?

I've asked it before and I don't know if it is technically possible, but how about a cable with a switch to change between LCD and EVF ? The only reason I'd buy a Pro module would be for that reason and one of the bigger arguments to use an Epic over any other camera is the size, where an extra module will kill that argument.

It seems the camera needs to boot up to recognize either display, so it would not work to switch them.
