I have had this happen 3 times since I installed v2.0.8 Beta, and it never happened with v2.0.5.

What happens is when I press the top button on the LCD (1:1 magnify), the screen goes totally blank.

I then power down the camera by holding in the side red button for 5 seconds.

Then when I turn it on again, I get the warning "Improper Shutdown".

Can you double check the key mapping (although I'm not sure what mapping would cause this behavior). You may also want to send your log file to RED support.

    Hi Trent,

The key mapping is fine. It works about 75% of the time.

I will try to generate a log file.

What I am more worried about is whether this is causing any damage to the brain.

    Thanks,
    Antony

Does this also happen if you toggle Magnify by some other method (mapped to a side handle key, or through the touch UI)?

What happens if you unplug and then replug the monitor when it is in this mode?

Red Support asked me to re-install the v2.0.8 firmware, so I did.
Now this exact problem hasn't happened again, but I am now getting different problems with the LCD.
Sometimes it has a "split screen" effect.

It looks as if the right side of the image is on the left side of the screen.

I've seen that before as well on an older build (the split screen). It was solved by a reboot, but it'd be nice to know what caused the problem initially. I haven't seen it so far on the latest release build.
