+ 1 for Kat Wong with Francis L. Dean and Associates. She was extremely professional and you can't beat a $250 deductible!

Highly endorse Taylor and Taylor for production and equipment production for LLC and Incorporated companies....
Have also found them very good for Feature film policies. They handled a claim for me in a prompt manner.

How are you guys filing EPICs or Scarlets on an insurance equipment schedule? Mine requires listing out items > $5000. Do you just put the entire assembled camera (side ssd, handle, LCD, etc) or just list the brain?

Well, because I had constructed my own spreadsheet of costs for each individual item and accessory in the purchase process, I just copy pasted that data onto a spreadsheet for the insurance. Some of these items stay fixed to the brain (e.g., DSMC top mount) some do not (WC Abox). If something ever happens, God forbid, some of these items may be involved and some may not. So, for me, doing it piecemeal was easier and more precise, and the insurance company didn't seem to mind (not that they would have known what half the stuff was). But if you list the camera and include the price of the brain and those items which are customarily fixed to it, I don't see a problem with that either.

Anyone using PPA? There rates are dirt cheap and I really only need about 15k in coverage since I own a barebones Scarlet/dslr/old mac. Just trying to make sure I am making the right choice here...

Professional Photographers of America? You might REALLY want to check into their policy details to see if they'll actually cover equipment used in film/video production...

Just thought I'd let people know,

I just recently got insured by Kat Wong, and she is, from what I gathered, starting her own insurance company called Athos.

I just insured my camera with her for 612 annually.

Her email information has changed to: kat@athosinsurance.com
