Redmote Issue

Hey, I emailed my BS rep a, but haven't heard back yet so maybe someone here has an answer -

We got our Redmote yesterday, but it doesn't seem to be working properly. The "Enter" button doesn't function - is it possible to set one of the other buttons to enter? I didn't see that as one of the options listed, but I was hoping...

Rather than emailing your BS rep, you should file a trouble report. This sounds like a tech support issue, not customer service.

I just unboxed my new RedMote today and had the same problem.
I called Red and spoke to Dan Baum ( one of my old Bomb Squads) and he was extremely helpful.
My new BS rep issued a RMA and off it will go tomorrow.
Yes, I am disappointed but I appreciate the fast reaction.
I wonder why the same malfunction?
One guess I have is possibly the extremely tight packing in the little Pelican case...is it too much pressure on that little button as it is tossed and bumped during the shipping process?
Just a thought....

I thought we all got the same UNDERWATER KINETICS case! (which by the way is great)

I had exactly the same problem out of the box. Mine is supposed to be on the way back to me after RMA, etc.

Yikes! I just got mine today. Haven't tried it yet. Can anyone verify that one they've received recently works properly?

Well, my bad....it looks like a Pelican case, smells like a Pelican case ...but it's not :-)

I got a fedex notice today for a 3 lbs box. I was hoping for a side handle, but now I think it's the redmote.
