Gorgeous imaging. So are you going to post BTS photos showing the setup? That would be very helpful.
I'd love to just see how people make shots like this without making a mess? Do you use a special table or ?

This was base light setup. Of course we added some mirrors and other things for background, and reflective planes for fill later.
Tomorrow I'll post more BTS photos and some new shots.
I read about noise at 300fps but I didn't totice any problems. Pictures are clean and sharp.
We always do blackshading before shoting and don't go higher than 400ISO.
I like 80c filter when I shoting with tungsten lights it gives me about 4200 Kelvin but even without this filter I had no problem with grading in Davinci.
And yes there was a lot of mess...;)
Wicked footage.
Thanks Artur. I'm very interested in this type of capture... overcranked, water, fruits and veggies... I only have 3x 1,500 Watt Photoflex lights and I have trouble not tripping breakers in my house ;) . I can't imagine 3x 10K Watts.
Andy you can't use small lights for 300fps because of flicker:(
Hi Artur
Looks really great!
Did you try hmi's? Im interested in the flicker issue (even with flicker free)
Just out of curiosity, why did you upload such small files to Vimeo (720x300)? I'd love to see this a higher resolution. :-)
Some of the best looking 300fps footage out there!
Artur, I did some experiments of my own last night using only 1 fixture with 2000 Watts and got decent results even though the subtle flicker was there as you said. So what specifically is it about the lights you are using that keeps the flicker from happening. Is it related to power frequency?
has anyone tried using LED based lighting to subdue the flicker?
