Hey guys! I coulda swore I've posted here before, but I guess I really have been creeping on reduser since way before I actually joined back in November...every question I had was always already answered by someone else, which is actually pretty awesome!
Anyway, so I'm days away from pulling the trigger on a stage 4 Epic X, and I'm still in the midst of building my rig and package online....my latest searches pertaining to post-workflow and the Red rocket for my macbook pro. This led me to the obvious solution, Maxx Digitals encasings. So I got a quote and added it to the grocery list. Then I check back on Maxx's site today and they had just added their latest product, their Storm-Cased dual macbook DIT Station!
This thing looks soooo sweet! ...Built-in Red Rocket, integrated CF Card, drive, and SSD card (coming soon) docks, dual access storage up to 4 TB, a cupholder, etc, etc. I mean, this thing is the real deal, a completely portable full DIT station ready to transcode and debayer with just the flick of a few case latches!
I didn't see any thread on this yet, so I figured I'd start it up for you guys!
Still need to call for a quote, but if anyone beats me to it, let us know here!
