Any plans for a smart grip that mounts on the Gunner and gives record and menu control? That would be great. Even an extension hookup for the side handle would be better then nothing.

Brent, thanks for the store links, ordered right away. Would love to see some shots of gunner w camera, a little hard to understand how it all goes together.
Cool stuff, this is exactly what i was looking for. :) Will order soon.
Smart-Grip sounds like a good idea. Until then, you can probably mount the REDMOTE near the grip. I remember seeing a Clutch-rig where it was smartly placed for one-hand-control.
BTW, what would be a proper solution to mount the 5"-Touch-LCD on the left side of the camera?
So why won't the Gunner work with the DSMC QR Release Pack (dovetail) and only the Bolt on QR?
I'm curious to what is on the under side of the Gunner. Curious how easy/difficult it is to drop down on a pair of sticks or quickly pop off the Gunner and go to sticks.
I really dig the design and the compact nature of it. Nice job!
I guess the idea is you have a red QR Baseplate on the camera (DSMC baseplate, Modular Assault Plate, or red one baseplate), and use that system throughout. QR bolt on for your Gunner and maybe your monopod/lightweight always in the trunk tripod/slider etc. QR Dovetail or bolt on for your primary sticks and QR dovetail on your Clutch. Transition from any setup to any other in seconds if you get enough QR platforms.
I can't wait to use the QR platforms to go between sticks/steadicam/clutch. Gonna be seamless... and magical :)
Hi Jarred, will an epic equipped with the assault plate work on the gunner? Will the 15mm rods interfer with the front of the gunner at all?
