I was wondering if I am alone with the idea that it would be cool to have an EVF attachment for the smallHD DP6 like the DP4. Their sales rep said if enough filmmakers were interested in the idea they would consider developing such. I can't afford the Bomb but using a small monitor with decent resolution would be great

    Scarlet on order

I think it would be too big. The EVF attachment would need to be a lot bigger than the EVF attachment on the DP4. It would just be way too bulky. The DP4 EVF attachment already makes it a little too big.

You can order now from us, including on our website. Shipping soon, likely shortly after NAB.

It uses the same cable as the small TV Logic monitors, the TVL-VFM-CBL-DTAP.

I've asked that it be put up on our website to order alongside the EVF, but in the meantime anyone can contact us directly to order one.

Do we have any idea about the power consumption on these? How long does one NP-F970 power the EVF?

Got an email not too long ago apologizing for the delay and informing me that they would be coming in soon... but I'm seriously starting to consider other options.

    Just received one unit.
Compared to the RED Bomb EVF OLED the resolution is visibly lower and there is quite a bit of "motion Blur" or image retention.
It's also quite large physically. Compared to the Zacuto and cineroid, my impression is that its berrter with less latency.
The finder image is a tad too large for my taste. It makes it harder to scan all the image edges, and can give a tad motion sickness...
