Need Help - Canon Lenses in Studio Config

We've ordered 2 Scarlets with the AL Canon mount to use in a live-switching environment. I'm planning on purchasing Canon 70-200mm 2.8 lenses to go on the front, but would like to be able to use them similar to a studio lens. I'm taking full advantage of the touch focus monitor and the Canon AF capabilities, but need some form of zoom controller.

Has anyone had any experience with something like this?

I've found a few ideas of what I'd like to use from the tripod end, but just need a way to connect it to the lens:

I don't think you'll be able to accomplish what you want with those 70-200 lenses and the remotes you have linked to.
