hmmmmm... now there are lots of scarlets out in the wild and no one has shared any overcranked and on cropped sensor size recorded r3dīs ???
is it because the results are so bad that nobody wants to share them ???

itīs a little bit frustrating that nobody of the existing scarlet-x owners want to show us, what we can expect to get out of the scarlet-x.

we only know, that there are a few posts, in which low quality in case of sensor cropping & slowmo are reported.
it also seems, that the scarlet-x is far away from the nearly 3 years announced 120fps at 3k.

it would be nice, if anyone of the existing scarlet-x owners / users can share any overcranked r3d's...

    thank you.

Maybe people don't share it because no one is intentionally trying to over crank their footage. Calm down.

    Tonaci put up some 3k @ 48fps

I'm not sure Scarlet owners owe you anything, so I would probably ask nicely if I were you.

Such anger and sarcasm in a thread with only 6 posts. What is happening to the civility? People will write things we won't like. Let's not bromg the place down.

Somehow I had the feeling Mr. F would eventually chime in.

I agree with Julio. Ask nicely and people will be nice to you.

    hi again !

    thank you for your comments...

    1.) nobody here owe's me anything :-)
i wrote: it would be nice, if ...
feel ree to read it again, if you misunderstood it the first time.

i don't think my question was not friendly.

2.) thank you dan, your posting seems to be the first "constructive" post here :-)
i've seen the 3k 48fps sample tonaci tran has shared. it is a fixed shot, where the 2 actors does not make any movements. it would be very interesting to see shots with much more movement in, maybe shot with different shutter angles.

3.) marden, thank you for your post. i'm wondering about what you know about the existing scarlet users worldwide. why can you say that no one tried to overcrank scarlet shots? do you know every scarlet user ? i't is also not necessery that you advice me to calm down, because i am very relaxed. :-)

i've just asked if it is possible to share some overcranked shots.

and now i'm doing that again :-)

it would be nice, if some of the scarlet users can share some overcranked, sensorcropped r3d's.

    thank you very much.

    hi barry !

    thank you very much!

what i would like to see is a fast moving object shot on the maximum framerates at 4k,3k,2k with different shutter angles... 10 sec. clips are long enough ;-)

it would be also nice to see hdr footage at normal speed (25fps) at 3k...

kind regards and thanx again, norbert
