As Rob mentioned., we are experimenting with plugin control for RCX... and part of that foundation includes time expirations for future implementations. RCX has grown into something bigger and better than we ever expected.. and Rob and his team continue to explore ways to make it bigger and better. Putting 6 rockets in one system is one way to do that.. another is plugins.
Thank you :) . I have a very big smile this afternoon. Thank you!.
The only downside with features expiring is that if you were to grade in RedCineX and then ever go back later, the expired plug-ins wouldn't be active anymore and you wouldn't be able to match your shots up.
6 Rockets (multiple Rockets basically) in a system will surely be essential for working with multiple streams of 5K with HDRx. Sandy Bridge-EP systems will go perfectly with multiple Rocket configurations. As for plug-ins, how about OFX support?
A third is control of looks for the camera and monitors. Great work Rob. RC-x rocks and has really grown up to become not only a 1st rate program in its own right but looks to become a platform for something that other software companies will have the room to integrate a huge variety of tools. If we want to participate to introduce our own "modules" how can we sign up? Is this through the normal sdk?
Love everything you guys do.
I understand the nature of software development and betas but I'm still not completely sure what implications to RCX this has? Just curious, as I'm a working professional and need some kind of certainty that the tools I'm relying on today will also work tomorrow. I have no problems paying for software btw :-)
no problem to pay a monthly fee here!
small question left.
is there a recommendation/best practice somewhere how to use alchemy and filmlook.
Any info about importing 3d luts in the upcoming versions?
I have no knowledge of any PC motherboard that has 6 PCIe x8 slots + one more for a graphics card.
Does anybody here ever heard of such a beast?
