    Hello

I am color correcting my Red-one footage on RCX. I feel comfortable with curves and sliders from years working with Photoshop. But I would love some advanced cc instruction via the web or live -- any recco's? many thanks!

Also, are there advantages to switching from RCX to RCX Pro? I have read there is a sharpening option, but is that avail for video clips or only stills?

    Thanks,

    Rob

I can't give you a tutorial on Redcine, not time for that. Just I do recommend dumping RCX and go with RCX Pro.

RCX Pro will have all the updates going forward. The old RCX is no longer developed, and is now lacking in features that RCX Pro has.

As far as information goes regarding color correction, you should search the forum for things like FLUT, Color Science, REDGamma2, etc ...
There has been plenty of discussion regarding these features and how to maximize their utility.

    Cheers,
    David
