    id like to see a comparison between dual battery with basic IO vs quad battery with Pro IO...

    Man, that thing is a beast. With a battery module on the back and the REDMote it looks like it will make the camera VERY long. I guess it's fine considering you probably won't use the Pro I/O if doing handheld.

    It would be great if the Pro IO was as small as possible (just like the Epic itself) There looks to be heaps of room to put the connections far closer together and shorten the whole module by about two thirds.

    The tiny size of the Epic is one of its great features.

    Yeah I keep thinking the same thing. I don't want to double the size of my camera just to add a few extra ports. I'm doing fine with what I've got right now, however given the option for a smaller I/O module I would jump on it.

    I wonder if RED will bring out a EVF module / mini I/O so you can run both the EVF & LCD at the same time.
    Seems wrong to have to double the size of the camera just to run 2 displays.

    Are there any pics of the other side of the Pro Module? COuld there be enough room for a battery slot or two? Also does anyone know what the attachment is that is to the left of the redmote on the second picture?

    That's a handle. There have been pictures of prototypes posted a while back. Jarred swears that it's great. I'm having trouble imagining it myself.
