Happened twice in a five days project: we couldnīt go back from the "zoom" (image zoom. focus check). The camera did not respond to any button. Had to be turnded off.

If the camera is operating except that the image is zoomed in, it's probably because you depowered the camera while the image was still zoomed in.
When you repower the camera, it "forgets" it's already in zoomed in mode, so pressing any button assigned to magnify just keeps trying to set it to the zoomed in mode. Try reassigning the button again, or toggling the Magnify mode off/on/off in the menus.
If you mean the camera does not work at all - then I suggest you reflash the firmware when convenient (remember you have to black calibrate afterwards!). Also see this old thread with some suggestions:
