I am planning on getting an Oconnor 1030 head but I wanted to get recommendations on sticks. I'm looking for something that is very versatile. Below are some of the characteristics I'm looking for.

    -Medium Lightweight
    -Durable
-Height range is negotiable (no specific needs)
    -Reasonably priced

    What suggestions do you have?

Really versatile with a huge height range and it is sturdy. I have one of these and a set of oconnor 25L sticks with my 1030... I like the oconnor better but the 536 is awesome for the price.

O'Connor all the way -- you can't beat the 25L sticks -- they are the best if you can afford them and the 1030 is hands-down the best lightweight head ever made.

i've got the 1030 and 25L kit and have travelled the world with them.

wouldn't do it any other way.

    best of luck.

I wouldn't recommend these legs with the 1030 - they are nice legs, but you'll need something a little heavier. With these legs and drag set to something higher than 2, you'll move the whole unit instead of just the head...
