It's looking less and less likely that Apple will keep the Macpro line.
I suppose this could mean they're making room for a macpro update... but it seems like a longshot.
clarification: I mean the brick & mortar stores.

Looks like it's still there to me?

I would really like Apple to pull their heads out of their ass and tell us what's going on with the MacPro... or at LEAST give us an upgradable PCI Thunderbolt card....
I assumed he meant it was not on display in the brick and mortar Apple store.
Yes that's correct. I just picked up an iphone 4s yesterday at the Apple Store in @ the Glendale Galleria in CA. No MacPro's on display in the store itself.
Also, I just read a thread on the Creative Cow and according to the person who started the thread there were no MacPro's in the Apple Store where ever he was shopping...
Dun dun dunnn... The plot thickens... I've been hearing the "discontinue" rumor for awhile.... Hopefully we'll hear some 'facts' soon...
One more upgrade of the MacPro line might heal some of my FCPX wounds. The FCPX story was warning to us regarding what is happening with the MacPro.
the anticipation is killing us apple! i need a new mac pro but i keep waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting...and
Hasn't been ANY Mac Pros in any of the local Apple stores in my area for some time.
Hey Michael, not sure if you remember me.. worked with you on "Randy Todd"..
Anyway, I think your'e right. I was at the apple store at the Grove the other day and there were none to be found. I did however just use Stan Paik's setup for a job last weekend (hackintosh 8 core w/ red rocket setup) and I really didn't miss a mac pro setup at all. So if they do go away, I know at least there will be an alternative.
Here is an interesting article with a different perspective. Thought it might be useful to the group.
