Coming Soon: Downtown Independent .r3d Monthly Open Screen Night

On December 21st 2011 at 7:30 PM Downtown Independent is launching a monthly open screen event dedicated to .r3d content. It will be fairly simple: show up, sign up for a 5-10 minute time slot, pay a small fee($10-20) and load your .r3d files onto our RED Rocket equipped MacPro, grab a beer(or soda) and enjoy your work on the big screen.

This is a really cool idea. I won't be able to make the inaugural event, but this is definitely something I'd like to do, and would be a good motivator to be constantly shooting something.

Bump: This is actually happening. Also we just got the HOBBIT and PROMETHEUS Trailers, so even if you don't want to show anything come on down and watch some cool RED trailers!!
