OK. Thanks Deanan. I get that now. I think that my main problem seems to be that I was trying to alter the framing once I had made a 3D clip. I have to make framing decisions on the separate eyes before I make the clip. I can make Look decisions after I have made the clip. I notice that the 3D clip gets stored in the R3D folder of one of the eyes (usually the left). If I wish to start again can I delete them? Redcine_X Pro will not let me move to the trash and it is quite hard to distinguish which clip is which in the original RDC folder. Is the camera original always the clip that ends _001?

    Thanks again,

    David

    David:

    Sorry, I'm not following...

How do I "choose a 3D mode" in the export presets?

Cannot seem to find this in RCX Beta 7.

For example, can I export a side-by-side file in RCX?

I seem to be able to only export LE or RE (full frame) but not side-by-side.

    Thanks in advance.

It's in your export preset setup, under options at the bottom.
