Any update on these w/ a start stop switch?
putting that ugly handle on a beautifully designed epic must make the designers on the red team cry...
This thread still kicking around i see..>Mitch whats the word, did able ever make a cable for EPIC?
Sorry, no. Figured out how to make it work but cannot seem to get anyone interested in manufacturing the thing.
QUESTION for Paul Moss :
I cannot see on the pics how you attach the rod to the epic body, are you using the Action product ?
Thank you
Thanks for the quick response Mitch, oh well...lost cause for now. Can you make me one. :)
Whats the consensus on this, would this be best powered from a D tap on the battery plate or do people want this completely self contained. Also how important is the Aaton rocker switch, personally I think its really nice.
Self Contained would get my vote. Dtap or power cord is another piece of spaghetti to tangle and get damaged. What if the power is within a small inline box that goes from the handle to the Ctrl port? Button batteries may do the job as only 3.3-5 volts are required. Hopefully we could keep the Aaton Rocker switch or replace it with a similar one?
It seems Lemac in Sydney have made just the box, its a fairly neat little unit .
here it is http://www.lemac.com.au/Products/Lem...eakoutBox.aspx
If you need one contact Scott at lemac he should be able to help you out..
