they're working on it. I got contacted by the bomb squad this past week and I was able to change my payment method, place a deposit all over the phone.

If you're patient you should hear from them soon. I'm sure there's a ton of orders. Everyone in the industry I run into knows at least one-two people who placed a deposit if they didn't place one themselves. This is just here Texas so I'd imagine its the same in every state if not more in the bigger cities. Lots of Scarlet-X going into the wild.

I must admit, I was getting a bit nervous - I ordered on Nov 3rd, and aside from the order confirmation I haven't been asked for a deposit - but I just figured that this was something to do with the fact I'd ordered from the UK (a different order stream etc).
I look forward to the email (and ensuing exit of money from my account :) )

I know a lot of deposits were taken without any notification on Friday. Check your account at red.com to see if they've taken your deposit.

Welcome to the club. Don't worry about the RED process. You gonna get used to it. The bomb squad is doing everything they can at all times. No money will be lost and no one will be forgotten. They are just nailed with orders and work.
I had the same worries 4 years ago, when I paid my first RED-One. They must have orders up to the roof right now and it's not gonna stop anytime soon. Sometimes you will think they missed out on you and then bamm there's a mail in the inbox with all the shipping infos etc.

Don't get me started about the backorder thing, welcome to the club again.
You are in RED's territory now. Everything is done a bit different than the others. Everything is subject to change. Count on it and you are fine.

Great to have you on board.
Ah and yeah, they should give you more air time on national radio. You still have the best voice all over Switzerland.

Are we going to be able to change our order at all at the time of processing and shipment? I would like to go with the 4 battery pack instead of the 2 battery pack and save a little dinero in the process if possible. Seeing as we aren't getting a discount and they're not in back-order would that be something to talk to our Bomb Squad rep when our number comes up?
