We'll be using this for our up-coming Matt Box. If there's enough interest I could get some out sooner than originally planed. It is 142 outer diameter to attach the Matt Box and 114mm diameter inside. It has 15mm rod mount. There is a bracket to convert to 19mm or 15mm studio.

So, if I understand correctly, the cage on RED's Pro Matte Box wraps around this, and this is on rails?

Excellent. And you make this? Do you have an estimate on price and release date?

Does any one know if there is any date set for this or if there will be a red "donut" coming any time soon?

Or what about the swing away...

our new lenses has spinning front barrels... which kind of puts both the Arri LMB15 and the Red mattbox on the shelf. I want to improve the red mattbox preferably with a swing gate thing and some donuts that lock into the same place as the plastic rings for the clip on. or maybe even nicer to loose th clip on all together and have the whole back plate replaced with a rubber donut thingy.

Any news on this will be great I can hold out during the summer then we need to buy something...
