UPDATE: RED Armor for EPIC-M

Many of you saw Jarred's RED Armor post in Recon.

So, in addition to offering RED Armor to EPIC-X and SCARLET-X, we are now offering it for EPIC-M. Same price and coverage as EPIC-X. Since you get two-years for EPIC-M as part of original warranty, this extends coverage for a total of four years (two original plus 2 extended). See FAQs for more details.

If you already have your EPIC-M (or EPIC-X), you need to contact your BOMB SQUAD rep by the end of 2011 to get RED Armor.

If you have an open order / want to place an order for EPIC-M or EPIC-X, RED Armor must be purchased before order processing begins (easiest is ordering same time as the brain).

Yeah, we revisited that. Feedback from customers was that if they were going to do RED Armor, it was going to be at time of purchase. After that, out of sight, out of mind. They would forget to buy it later in that year. This way, we won't have those "S**t, I forgot to buy RED Armor and my original warranty just expired" situations. Plus, the logistics and bandwidth to get in cameras within original warranty period to eval, offer RED Armor, etc was a lot. Not to mention, the camera coming in for eval means it is not in your hands, shooting. Just tried to make it cleaner and more respectful of your time and our time.

Brent, the EPIC-X RED Armor email also mentioned not having to return the EPIC-X, for eval, if camera was received prior to RED Armor's introduction. Has this changed as well? Just want to confirm.
