Anyone get one of these OLED's yet? Obviously not 4K (yet) but sure looks like an incredible grading quality monitor for sub $6K!

especially given the incredible SIDE VIEWING ANGLE specs... curious how that equates to REAL WORLD OFF ACCESS VIEWING?
    Kind regards,

OLED also has the benefit of incredible contrast reproduction, because there is no backlight the blacks truly are black.

Contrast and color reproduction is excellent, but they flicker terribly. They have similar mosquito noise compared to plasma, but it's not really an issue. Did I mention that they flicker? Poor viewing angles, nowhere near as good as the current crop of IPS LCD panels. Really, have you seen the flicker?

The more expensive models seem to handle the flicker better, but come at a much higher price and still don't eliminate it entirely.

As nice as the black levels are, there are just too many other shortcomings right now in relation to the high early-adopter price tag. YMMV... I'll stick with the plasma until these other issues get ironed out. I'm pretty much on a display-buying moratorium around here until I can start buying 4K monitors anyway. I'm actually getting a 4K (Quad-HD really) demo panel here in about 4 or 5 months.
