  #1 DSMC Leica M Mount
The Official RED DSMC Leica M mount

The mount is finishing testing and should be in the store early December.

Fits both EPIC and Scarlet. Seals for dust and light.

    Aluminum version $800.

I have a feeling " Leica M lenses " is going to be the search of the day on Ebay :)

    Quite beautiful !

Is there a limitation on supported lenses (heard there was a limitation on lenses with the third party mount)

    Thanks!

I thought Leica M lenses wouldn't fit in the cavity of the Epic? Is it just some of the lenses that won't? Or am I completely mislead about that?

Some wide lenses that have an protrusion out the back won't work mechanically.. we are preparing a list of those.

so does that mean that the newest 24mm and 35mm ASPH Summilux won't work? (:

Oh shit!!!! Now we're talking! I have been seriously looking into these lenses over the last week. This opens up all kinds of great new lenses, including the 50mm f/0.95 Noctilux-M! I have a feeling I will be using this mount and lens at music festivals and such.
