    Short answer No, and Yes.

    3k is totally fine (by my standards), 2kWS has improved with the latest firmware, but it isn't the epitome of sharpness and resolution because it's 2048x854 pixels.

    Jarred or Jim, could you tells us if Scarlet-X Al mount is still expected to start shipping on December 1st?

    i have been misquoted. i have not shot 3k. only 2k and it does have issues with strange artefacts in the blacks. This was even talked about at Reducation Uk and that it would be improved in future firmware. I have not shot 2k at 24p only high frame rates so no idea if that makes a difference.
